Wordpress is the blog engine I am using from now on. It allows you to effortlessly manage your posts and other people’s comments and it also has a handful of settings you can choose to adjust your blog the way you want. It’s also web standards compliant and allows you to build your own themes and plugins, which is absolutely amazing.

I stopped developing my blog engine in Ruby on Rails because I didn’t have that much time to make it that good. Besides, it would require a lot of planning to allow scalability, usability and maximum performance.

If I actually plan on building a blog engine in a new techology such as Rails, I will tell you again. Right now, I don’t have that need.
